Our Approach to Training
Prior to being deployed to any customer site, staff are required to hold a current security license or security certification/qualification and they also need to have a proven level of competency.
P4G Security has developed detailed and effective Training and Quality Assurance programs to monitor our own Performance Guidelines as well as our customers expectations. Our training has been developed from international best practices and leads the way locally.
The Induction and Development Training Course has several assessment-based, online and practical modular components. The module content is designed to provide the skills required for staff to perform their roles.
The training modules address the importance of customer service and customer safety, and also has site/contract-specific training. It is tailored specifically to address the different roles our staff perform.
The training curriculum adheres to all local and national laws. Most of the training is delivered through P4G Security in-house trainers, who are NZQA qualified.
One essential recruitment and training strategy is identifying suitably qualified staff to perform specific duties. This is achieved by adhering to the Key Selection Criteria in the Position Descriptions and recognising the strengths of individuals before assigning specific duties.
