Mobile Patrol Officer – Special Award

A big congratulations to Tupu M. who is the proud recipient of a special P4G Mobile Patrol Officer award for outstanding services while on duty.

Last month, Tupu arrived onsite to beddown one of our Mall properties in Auckland at 11pm and noticed a fire burning around the rubbish bin area at the rear of the building. He immediately contacted Fire Services, quickly followed by the shift Supervisor, alarm monitoring team and client keyholder. Fire Services were onsite within minutes, with the fire contained then extinguished by 11:15pm. There was significant external damage to the wall of the mall, however due to Tupu’s quick response the fire was put out before it could fully engulf the building.

Both P4G and our client would like to recognise Tupu’s quick thinking and rapid response, staying calm in a high-pressure situation and preventing what could have been a major fire event.

It was later confirmed via CCTV footage that a member of the public had started the fire then left the site prior to the arrival of our patrol unit.

Awesome mahi Tupu, congratulations!
