Chintec (Kowhai Park Solar Farm)
P4G was successful in winning the tender process to provide Chintec with security services for the Kowhai Park Solar Farm site build.
This 150-megawatt solar farm is located right next to the Christchurch Airport runway and covers 300 hectares. The solar farm will consist of around 300,000 solar panels. P4G was chosen as the exclusive security supplier thanks to our flexible options, use of technology to lower costs and create efficiencies, and detailed methodology.
This tender process was a great example of us being able to create a security plan for Chintec with almost no prerequisites. Our utilisation of mobile CCTV towers, smart rostering, and our ability to increase or decrease our staffing when required to provide Chintec with a cost effective, yet comprehensive security solution.
